What LawyerLand provides

LawyerLand operates a legal directory, communication service, and collection of general legal and research resources. LawyerLand is not a law firm, does not represent users, and does not decide whether a lawyer should accept a matter.

Communications with lawyers

When you submit a request, you ask LawyerLand to process the information and make it available to lawyers or law firms that may be relevant to the request. Submission does not guarantee a response or representation. Until a lawyer expressly agrees to represent you, you should assume no attorney-client relationship exists and that deadlines continue to run.

You are responsible for providing accurate contact information and for deciding what to disclose. Do not submit information you consider confidential or privileged through a general web form.

Law-firm accounts and listings

Account holders must provide accurate information, keep credentials secure, and promptly correct material listing errors. Paid placement, where clearly labeled, affects display or promotional features only; it is not a certification of quality, legal ability, or fitness for a matter.

Acceptable use

You may not use LawyerLand to break the law; impersonate another person; submit unlawful, deceptive, infringing, or malicious material; scrape or overload the service in a manner that disrupts it; bypass access controls; introduce harmful code; or use contact information for unsolicited bulk communications.

Content and reuse

Unless a page or dataset states a separate license, LawyerLand retains its rights in original website content and branding. Public research releases may carry an open license that controls reuse of that release. Factual public-domain source material remains subject to the rights and terms of its original source.

Third-party services and links

The website may link to or use third-party websites and services. LawyerLand does not control their availability, content, security, or privacy practices. A link is not an endorsement.

Disclaimers and responsibility

The website is provided on an as-available basis. To the extent permitted by law, LawyerLand is not responsible for indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from use of the website or reliance on its directory or general information. Nothing in these terms excludes a right or responsibility that cannot legally be excluded.
